Peanut butter cookies
This recipe is an oldie but goodie. Been making this same recipe since childhood.
¾ cup Crisco
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
1 ¾ cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
Additional granulated sugar for rolling cookies.
In a large bowl mix all ingredients until well combined.
Take a small scoop of cookie dough and roll into a small ball. Roll each ball into granulated sugar and place on a cookie sheet. Using a fork, make a criss cross pattern.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Don’t overbake.
