My friend Rachel kept telling me how good this was. I’ve tried it now and it is so good, it needs to be shared. Moist, tender, flavorful grilled chicken.
2 lbs. chicken legs, breast, thighs (skin on, bone in)
12 oz. Can of Sprite
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 yellow onion, chopped
In a ziploc bag or bowl and add the marinade ingredients. Add chicken and give it a shake/stir to cover the chicken. Place in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours or overnight for best results and flavor.
Heat grill to medium and place chicken on hot grill. Let skin get crispy and lower heat to low. Continue to grill for about 30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Remove from grill and cover with aluminum foil. Let rest for 5 minutes and serve along side you favorite salad.
