Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup cake flour or all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar, divided

1 T. Baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 cup whole milk

4 cups fresh peaches, sliced (don’t need to peel)

1 T. Lemon juice

½ teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Pour melted butter into a 13x9 inch baking dish .
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Add milk and mix to combine into a smooth batter.
Pour batter over melted butter in baking dish. Do not stir together.
Slices peaches and add to a small saucepan. Add 1 cup sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Stir to combine and bring this to a boil. Cook until sugar is dissolved and peaches are tender.
Pour peaches and juice over the batter. Do not stir together.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until top is browned and bubbly.
Serve with cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
