Oil; 1 teaspoon mustard seeds; 2 teaspoons urad dal; 2 teaspoon chana dal; 4 garlic cloves, sliced; 1 dry red chili or green chili, split; 8-10 curry leaves; 1/8 teaspoon asafoetida (hing); 1/2 teaspoon turmeric; 1 medium onion, chopped (or sweet bell peppers); 4 T. Lemon juice and zest to decorate; 2 teaspoons salt; Chopped cilantro, sprinkle on top; 1 T. Roasted peanuts (opt)
