I think these are the best meatballs. Use them for a meatball sandwich or with your spaghetti. Eat them plain if you like, they are that good.

Ingredients
-
½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
-
2/3 cup milk
-
1 lb. Ground beef
-
¼ onion, grated or finely chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 egg, beaten
-
1 teaspoon salt
-
½ teaspoon black pepper
-
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
-
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
-
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a large bowl, mix bread crumbs and milk. Combine and set aside for 5 minutes
In a separate bowl, add ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese, parsley, basil and rosemary. Mix together and add to the soaked breadcrumbs. Mix gently until combined. Do not overmix.
Using a cookie scoop, portion meatballs and roll into balls. If using your hands, rub olive oil on your hands to make the meatballs. It will prevent the meatballs from splitting and helps them brown nicely. Place onto a lined baking sheet.
Bake for about 18-20 minutes. Remove from oven and drain any excess fat. Serve with your favorite sauce or as a sandwich.
