Ingredients

8-10 tomatillos

½ jalapeño, deseeded

4 garlic cloves
-
½ white onion (not yellow onion)

½ cup cilantro
-
1 T. Fresh lime juice

½ teaspoon salt
Directions
Place tomatillos, garlic and jalapeno on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Place under the broiler for 10 minutes until vegetables are charred, turning tomatillos half way through. Remove from oven
In a blender add your onion, cilantro, lime juice and salt. Add the charred tomatillos, garlic and jalapeño and blend until you have a smooth texture.
Enjoy your salsa with chips, on your favorite tacos or carnitas.
