Tomato, Cucumber, Sesame Seed Salad

Ingredients

1 pound fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced

1 Persian cucumber, thinly sliced

2 green onions, thinly sliced

1/2 Serrano or jalapeño, thinly sliced (optional)

1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
-
1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt (such as Maldon)

1/4 teaspoon pepper, finely grated
-
1 T. Soy sauce
-
1 T. Rice wine vinegar
-
1 T. Olive oil
-
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Salad Dressing
Directions
Cut tomatoes into thin slices and larger chunks and arrange on platter. Layer sliced cucumbers. Sprinkle the green onions, jalapeño, toasted sesame seeds and salt and pepper over the top. Drizzle some of the dressing over the top of the salad. Serve immediately with the remaining dressing.
I have prepared with pinch red pepper flakes or less instead of jalapeños.
Added cilantro..
