¾ cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup. I use ½ cup dark corn syrup, ½ cup light corn syrup.
⅓ cup melted butter
1 ½ cups pecans (roasted for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven)
Pinch of salt
Beat eggs and sugar together. Add dash of salt, corn syrup and melted butter. Stir in pecans and pour mixture into pie shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Crust will be browned and filling will be a little jiggly. It will firm up as pie cools.
Allow pie to cool before slicing. Add a scoop of ice cream on the side to serve.
