I have made and eaten many versions of butter chicken, but this recipe is at the top of the list.  Making the tandoori chicken to use in the butter chicken is the trick to this delicious dish. It takes time to marinate, so plan ahead.

When okra isn't in season, I have used chopped frozen okra and it tastes just as good as fresh and its less work to cut up.

Masiyal is a South Indian dish made from dal and vegetables. This is my favorite eggplant dish. 

This creamy cashew gravy will surely be a treat on anyone's palate. Mushroom Matar (peas) Malai (cream)
