Indian Food — tomatoes RSS

Hearty and comforting red lentils simmered with warm spices, onions, tomatoes, and garlic for a simple, flavorful Indian classic. Serve with rice for a perfect meal. 

I like to have this with idli or use as your favorite spread on a sandwich.

Red kidney beans are simmered in an onion/tomato gravy with spices and herbs. Simply delicious!

When okra isn't in season, I have used chopped frozen okra and it tastes just as good as fresh and its less work to cut up.
